Anyone out there tried the champion 2000 watt inverter generator yet? Seems like they are a little hard to find. One place online has them for $599 and they are parallel capable. Listed decible rating is 53 dba.
Got mine at local Costco last year for $400. The same store does not carry them any longer.
How do you like it? I am kicking around about getting one since I sold the 4000. It would be a nice backup for the Onan, when I dont need the AC. AND, make all the genny police happy.

Haven't used it for the TT yet, just for small things outside...I do start it once a month to keep everything working like it should...It starts easy, runs great and is a lot quieter than the 4,000 I have.

If you have a Costco around, pick one up and try it out for a while to see if you like it. If you don't, just take it back to Costco.
Nothing not to like, We used our Champion 2000i (the red one) on a four day outing. Ran it about six hours a day. It was quite and used very little fuel. Got it at Costco for $489.00.....Very pleased...
2010 Jayco Eagle Super Lite 31.5RLDS Fifth Wheel, 2006 Ford 350 PSD SRW, long Bed, Champion 2000i inverter Generator and a Champion 3500/4000 Gen.
I like my pair of paralleled Champs 2000i. Do you have specific questions? The thread referenced above, while long, has just about every question and topic covered on this specific generator. The pair runs the A/C just fine. A single one covers all of my non-A/C needs just fine and makes for a lighter load.
