We have 3 little ones (Chihuahua's).

The youngest one, just LOVES going camping, actually shakes and acts freaky once back home, always looking for the trailer and a trip.

This past weekend, a trip up into the North Ga Mtns. A great weekend!

Chewy!

Happy Camper!

Our Chihuahua Sparky loves to RV. Once I pull the MH from beside the house he will not leave my side except to go set in the drivers chair and wait for us to leave. He refuses to get out of the MH until we leave. He has his own chair that is between ours and he sets there the whole trip. He has been this way for the last 6 years.

We have two that just love traveling, Bubba who we rescued last summer has taken to it wonderfully.
We were concerned that he would bolt out the door if given the chance but no, after a couple of lessons of stay, until he's hooked up, he does just that.
He loves meeting other people and dogs and he's quiet, which our neighbors appreciate.
He loves to ride in the truck and never sleeps, I don't think he misses a mile of the road. He turned out to be a really good rescue. Lucy our Lab just sleeps until we get to where we are going.
When we are packing up to leave they get so excited!

Camping between Ellijay and Chatsworth, at:

mulberry

A wonderful setup, they have a couple sites with Electric only, for smaller rigs.

Really nice setup for tents or use of bunkhouses, they have daily great home cooked meals, and some of the best Mtn Biking Trails(Pinhoti Trail system) in the Southeast are right in the area.

We drove up the Mtn to Lake Conasauga for a hike, highest lake in Georgia at 3,150 feet (960 m) above sea level. (Pictured). Passing several over-looks and a big water-fall.

Lake Conasauga

Not far from there is a great State park with RV sites: Fort Mountain State Park.

Fort Mountain

Right now the woods and weather was perfect, lots of blooming plants and great temperatures.

Thats a beautiful shot of Chewy....That park looks wonderful with the lakes and mountains...can't blame Chewy for loving a trip there....
My 3 chihuahuas like going also...but I don't think they are quite as enthusiastic as Chewy...
