Our little trailer has those Duro tires on them, it says fill them up to about 50psi i filled them up to about 47psi.

I noticed the inside and the outer edges are wearing funny, and the tread it self looks round. when I look at other tires from other trailers or vehicles the tread is flat, should I get rid of those tires? and would it improve towing as well (sway, I do use anty sway system).

If one of them has/is failing then yes it will help. When you say round? Do you mean it is wearing in the center? Since they are more of the China junk I would probably get them off and replace them with Maxxis tires.

The round is the nature of bias ply. You might get a year out of those. Mine went three before craking and separating in the tread. Radial with the steel belts will hold the tread flat, wear better, hold together better.

I have used Duro as spare tires and when left on my old 25 foot trailer they wore about twice as fast as the other three tires (Goodyear Marathon). The Duro were bias ply instead of radial so that MAY have been the reason. I'd begin by weighing your trailer to be sure it's not over weight but you really should follow the instructions and air them up to the full 50. DOUBT if that's your problem but the wear pattern (wearing on the outer edges) often indicates under inflation or overweight.

Our first TT came new with Duro tires. Total junk - the tread separated on two of them within 3,000 miles. They're not called "China bombs" for nothing.

Run from the Duro's as fast as possible and get some Maxxis tires. I will never tow anything with Duro's again.

My Duro 2100 radials have been great so far. Air pressure this spring exactly where I left it last fall. Put on 4,700 miles last summer and they still look brand new. The problems tend to be with the bias ply tires.

I had Duro tires prior to my current tires and they too were bias ply tires - D class I believe. Max pressure was 65 psi. Wore fine. Got rid of them because I wanted to upsize and one of the tires were cracked all around the sidewall from age / UV damage.

Now have Goodyear Marathons - radials from the fine country of China where only tire bombs are made, as opposed to places like Thailand where the anecdotally perfect Maxxis tires are produced.

Now I have tire covers to help with the cracking issue and keep the tires at the maximum 50 psi. Just got back from a short camping trip 1 hour away and all is fine. Big trip this summer is going to be about 3500 miles long and probably at average 65 mph. When I make it back I will be sure and report on the performance and will be the first to eat my words if there is a problem.

Don't confuse 225D15 with 225R15-D

The first D is for Diagonal or bias ply, second D is for load range D 65 psi.

I would suggest running them at the full 50 psi might make a slight improvement.
