We're trying to make some summer weekend plans and would like to spend a few days here in June but am unsure what is the best way to make reservations.
I tried calling the number on their website this morning and got a recording say the number had been changed.
Does anyone know how to contact these folks to make a reservation other than snail mail? Do they accept reservations prior to May 15th when they open?
Thanks for any info.

Just another avenue for communication, although, looks like it is hard to get info, right now. I have been looking for better info to potentially make a visit.

Update;
My family and I visited Mile High Campground this past weekend for two nights. We had an absolutley great time.
We tent camped (which was a big change for us) and my two kids loved it and are begging to go back this weekend!
The views are fantastic and the sunsets amazing. I can't say enough about how great this campground is. If you're looking for excitement you probably won't find it outside of an elk maybe wandering through your campsite. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting this is it.
There is no electricity at the sites and you have to carry your water, so it's kind of roughing it. However the toilets flush and the shower houses have hot water (which makes roughing it sortofnottrue).
The campground owner is a very personable guy and makes sure everyone feels welcome. The hosts were also very nice and helpful when we arrived.
We will be back as soon as our schedule allows and recommend this campground to anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

I agree with everything you said, it is a super quiet and peaceful CG.
if you like birding it's an ideal spot as well, here are a couple shots from our site back on 9/16/11

It's about 15-20 miles up the Blue Ridge Parkway from Cherokee NC, turn left on Balsam Mt. rd go just a little ways and you will see the CG sign on the left, Mile High CG.
don't just stop there though, drive on up to the top of Balsam Mt, it is one of my favorite spots in all of the Smokey MTS.

Nice looking place. His website really offers not much information. Will sites accomodate 35' TT's? What is the rate there?
