My camper came from the factory with the Bargman tail lights. I noticed that the right side quit working yesterday. I took the light assembly out and near as I can tell, I have to replace the whole thing. Is there any way to repair these things? The cheapest one I found is at Tweety's for $40. Seems kinda pricy! I miss the old days when an 1157 bulb cost $1. Any recommendations?

You are probably better off to deal with a company that sells replacements, and not try to contact Bargman. I never had any assistance or communication with Bargman in the past. There customer support is terrible.

Try NAPA, they have a pretty good selection and the 4" round ones for my Lance were $17 if I remember right.

The warranty looks good on paper but I bet my problem would be considered wear and tear. The lights are 4 years old and worked just fine. Probably just one of those things. I have to get this road ready by next week so I'm in a time crunch.

I got tired of replacing them on the tow dolly and went to led. Those round 4 inch lights are pretty much industry standard and used on the over the road trailers. Just verify if you have a plug in connector or a pig tail.

Lots of sources for them Ryder Fleet Products is one.

Good luck

Well hopefully you dont end up having to run a new wire from end to end due to lack of access-gonna make that $40 sound cheap/ Sounds like you know the area though that might be problem.

I had simular episode-had to rotate right rear clearance light when I installed slide topper-arm was hitting light. Simple enough-til next time I loaded camper-blew the fuse. Took me awhile to figure when I drilled new screw hole snagged the power wire with screw. err
Good luck

I think the only solution is to run a new wire from end to end. There is no real access to the wires and I don't want to have to peel back the siding to get into the area that I just fixed. It shouldn't be too expensive. Just about 20' of wire.

Good call, Mark. I took a tester out to the camper and discovered there is no power to the stop/turn wire. The tail light works. Now I have to trace down the wire and find the problem. I must have broken the connection yesterday when I was repairing some structural damage but I didn't even see any wires where I was working. Rats! I was hoping this would be an easy fix.
