I just returned from takeing the Rattlesnake avoidance class with our Labs . WOW I was very suprised how quickly the dogs learned that snakes are nothing to be messed with. The class was worth every dollar. We run our dogs in Washington , Oregon, Montana, Idaho Yep every where you could possibly encounter the little buggers. I feel so much safer.
A big thank you to Y-Guy for telling me about the classes here in Washington.

Yep,
My class fees were "paid in full" the very next day !!
He got too close and stirred up some trouble, but He knew what to do once He saw/heard the snake and got away quickly and I knew something was NOT right and avoided a confrontation myself.
Glad your dogs are "snake smart".
