Utah is beautiful for sure. My favorite is Yosemite National Park.
We like all the water falls, all the hikes and a great place to ride bikes in the valley. The high country is beautiful as well.

While if I had to pick only one state for it's national parks it would be Utah, my favorite park is Glacier.

Ok here is a National Park that is not widely known but is a hikers paradise. Big Bend National Park in Texas. I was there a few weeks ago. You wouldn't think that Texas has 7300ft mountains there.

Dan, while you are at Capitol Reef make sure you have dinner at Cafe Diablo in Torrey, UT. One of the best restaurants anywhere. It sure was a shock to get gourmet food at what looks like a rather non-descript place in the middle of nowhere, but it is there and well worth the stop.

Without a doubt Yellowstone and Grand Teton rank #1. Ive visited 14 or 15 times....and the last time nearly killed me.... . But I'll make it back...someday
Arches and Canyonlands... Just like camping in a rock quarry. No trees...no grass...no water..!

X2! Another favorite and great in early spring. The air is perfumed with the wildflowers.

For pure beauty, I vote for Glacier National Park. I also love Yosemite National Park, it's a close second to me.

Our travels always include National Parks...But Our favorite is Bryce Canyon... This year we will again visit Bryce, along with Monument Valley, Canyon Lands, Arches, Tetons, and Yellowstone...

On your way north from Monument Valley or south to Monument Valley, take the side road and drive through Valley of the Gods in Southern Utah, by Mexican Hat. The dirt road is not suitable for an RV, but we had no problem with our Chevy HHR. Also at the exit from Valley of the Gods, you have to take the drive up the Mokie Dugway road for an outstanding view of the countryside. Again, not suitable for the coach, but no problem with the toad. Then, if you go through Mexican Hat and you want a great meal, stop at the Swinging Steak Restaurant, which is right near a small RV park.
