I believe I just spent my last dollar at CampingWorld. A web order placed was received today. A tube of sealant was shoved into a box too small and as a result, broke the nozzle off the tube, spilling the contents into the box. I also ordered a retro-fit exhaust fan for my rv bathroom. The price when ordered was $49.99, todays' invoice shows a billed price of $66.49. Needless to say, both items are on their way back to Bowling Green. There are other places that sell these products.

Let me check on this for you. There's no need to return the items yet. I believe that the packing slip you received doesn't include discounts you may have received on the order and shouldn't reflect what has been charged to your account.
Please send me your order number to nscott@campingworld.com
I'll also get you a replacement tube of caulking sent at my charge (in an adequate package). I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, and hope you will allow me the opportunity to fix the problem.

Make sure you report that. As for the tube breaking due to being shoved into a box too small - careless customer service and definitely report it. As for the price difference, talk to them, as them for a credit or if they even give one. Isn't sending it back more money overall than if you had just admitted the mistake of not picking the best price (if they don't refund the difference) and kept it?

jdb, I haven't forgotten about you. We're burning the midnight oil trying to get our website back up. I'll look into this first thing in the morning.
