Bought one for ours from a Ford dealership in Lynden WA cost $9 & change.

Go to Autozone and get part number 8119 oil filler cap $4.99.

Apparently wrong. OP's second post in thread: "Ford cannot help different cap,parts jobbers can not help items wont fit,Contacted Four Winds for help it appears that the extension they use for motor homes has a different cap go figure"

Lets just clarify this. Some folks said go back to the RV builder. Some said go to Ford.

I was under the impression the oil fill cover was a Ford product, part of the stripped chassis. Right or wrong?

Rather interesting, as I was able to get a replacement oil fill cap for our 2000 coach at a Ford dealership parts department.
