not sure where a good place to place this random rambling but wnated to see if any one has had as bad of luck as me..

i bought a new to me toy hauler that ended up costing me 3500$ to fix water damage and was in the shop for 4 months. i took the trailer out only once this year and have a trip planned that we go on every april.

this year we are headed out his weekend the 28th!today is monday and everyone has a cold (sore throats runny nose etc.etc.etc..
i seem to be next in line.

any ways hopefully we can still make it. none of the family has been sick for the last few months and just my luck we are all getting sick just in time to leave!

Did you buy a used up Weekend Warrior?

It seems around the time that Weekend Warrior expanded their shop because they sold a wonderful product, and added a second shift, that the product quality went south, frames not strong enough, tiny 30 amp battery charger (so you spend hours running the generator, I guess they don't think people would ever dry camp in one and charge the battery with the generator?)

So their big plan went south with the company, quality went from really good in 2002 to extremely bad and very unreliable.

There are a lot of posts about Weekend Warrior and their weak frames. I hope you don't have one of the bad years.

Seems I always get sick before or during a big trip. I've always associated it with the stress of getting ready to leave, both at work and home. That doesn't account for the family though. If you have rug rats they bring home a LOT of germs. Seems like someone in my family was always sick when the boys were young.

I hate that two week prior period, hoping that nobody gets sick that could derail the trip. Happened a couple of times but they were on the mend so we went and they laid around the rig for a couple days until they felt up to it. Hope everyone feels better fast.
