Okay, is that typo on purpose just to see if somebody would catch it?

We have eaten in several since they opened. We have not been in one for at least 4 years. Food is terrible at best (and I have eaten in 3 in Calif.)
BTW - you DO NOT have to pay the gratuity - even when they add it to your check for parties over X. Pay what you feel is fair. Sometimes we pay less or same, more often for good service we pay more. Having been a waitress through college, I def have opinions about what constitutes good and bad service.
Mowermech, round here if you go to Perkins, you'd better take something to eat with you because it'll take an hour to get your food after you've finally placed your order. Ours closed several years ago and the one in my daughters home town closed recently. They were next door to a Chili's (burger place). I think Chilis had an edge because they sell beer! But we did love their Philly cheese sandwich-when we finally got it!
My co workers, and I took our wives to an Outback Steakhouse. We had a party of 12. After we arrived another large party came and was waiting on our table to eat. They apparantly were very impatient with the greeter. She finally told those people that they were waiting on our table, and at that point this impatient party came over to where we were seated, and proceeded to surround us as we ate.
We were still finishing our main course, and hadn't even ordered desert. These people that were waiting for our table became rude, and the staff at Outback Steakhouse did nothing.
We paid our individual bills, and left without even ordering desert.
I can't even begin to tell you how the food was. It may have been great, but I don't remember.
That was the 1 strike, and your out with me. I'll never go to another Outback Steakhouse even if I am paid to do so.
Incompetent, unprofessional, and quite obvious to me that I don't rate as a valuable customer to them. Yep, I'm done with Outback Steakhouse.

HAHAHAHAHHAHA. Did you see where someone filed a lawsuit against the advertisers as there was no proof the cows were happier in California?

I didn't see that lawsuit, but I know PETA was complaining because they claimed the commercials didn't show the cows in the slaughter yard. But I think the Happy Cow commercials were about cheese and not beef. Don't have to kill the cows to get the milk to make cheese.

Better off going to Ruth Chris, Black Angus, or Cattlemen's if you want a steak house, TGI Friday's is better for parties, food's definitely better, though we lost all our ones in Oregon.
I like a good steak and have been to Mortons, Ruth Chris and some so-called great steak joints in the D.C. area... I get the Victoria Filet medium rare and a steamed lobster tail and it's always great! Best steak I ever had was at a little dive in the out-skirts of New-Orleans, the knife just fell thru the steak! Outback in Woodbridge,Va is ok by me...
