My sister is tossing around the idea of buying a class A MH. She has two requirements. A washer/dryer and a king size bed. The washer/dryer is not a problem but I'm not sure if there are any Class A's that come with a king size bed.

Lots of them come with king bed options....both gas and diesel. The WD I found to be the most useless thing to have vs. the space it takes up. I have my new coach at the dealer as I write this removing a brand new splendid WD combo. Just a matter of personal preference but you can only put in 2 pairs of jeans and two bath towels at a time and 3 hours later you have clean laundry.......I would much rather go to the laundrymat and get it all done in and hour and a half. We both decided we would rather have the space since we travel 3-4 months a year. I guess it is a personal preference but a motorhome washer dryer is nothing like the one's at home.

I agree that the W/D is nothing like what is in a sticks and bricks. However, I wouldn't fulltime without having one in my MH. If it takes 3 hours to do a load, no big deal. Start it on your way out the door. what's the hurry to get it done its just laundry. You do have to learn to do smaller loads.

I have a 2006 gass coach with W/D and King size bed. I think both are great., just cna't let the laundry get a head of you. Gary

Most queens can be turned into a king with the removal of one side table.

I've seen plenty of king beds in older coaches but the majority I see are in the newer diesel coaches (but then again I don't look at gas coaches. ) But I will have to agree about the washer/dryer combo unit. Now if your talking about the coaches that have separate units, like a house, now thats nice. Because then the dryer runs on 240 and you can wash clothes and use the dryer at the same time. And not to mention how much quicker the clothes dry. One more thing, the vented washer dryer combos are wayyyy better than the ventless. We happen to have the ventless.

Bought a new coach for exactly the same reasons. Our gas 37' Newmar has a stacked washer and dryer and a full king bed, wouldn't be without either. Lots of coaches offer them especially mid 30' and up.

Finding a class A with a full length King is a real problem. There are several with a short king. We have a 2008 with a full size king with washer/dryer.

If you're looking and not finding king beds, you're looking at older coaches.
Most of the newer coaches will have king beds as a option. Just consider that every inch of space that is taken up by one thing reduces space for something else (like elbow room).
As far as WDs go... the new staked units do a great job and are worth every penny and inch of space for travelers who do not want to spend time in crappy laundrymats.
