It provides a nice coating, and bugs come off very easily.
I don't use anything else.

We started using this stuff this past winter. It is a much better improvement than the so called blue stuff, which would leave blue stains across the front.
Full timing it since July 2012 My pics

Bugs are the hardest to get cleaned.
What is the best cleaner solution to get a windshield cleaned
Windex and a small nail brush ( for the tuff bugs) does the trick.

Hot soapy water works really good! Used dryer sheet on the tough ones. As a plus, the price is something I can handle without pain.

I use Aquapel Glass Windshield Cleaner and then coat the windshield with Rain X. Helps keep the windshield protected from all the gunk and bugs from really clinging and sticking on the windshield so it's easier to clean.

There is a windshield washer fluid sold, I believe Wally World has it, that does a better job on taking off bugs. Sorry, don't remember the name. It says on the label it is designed to remove bugs better. Of course it costs more, is a different color and smells bad. But it was somewhat helpful at getting them off better than the old blue stuff.
The best plan is to clean the glass thoroughly then apply RainX to help water shed off and bugs don't seem to stick as bad.
However if bugs are bad on the windshield they will be worse on the nose of the MH. If well polished sometimes a used dryer sheet helps remove them &/or Simple Green. I find original Dawn dish detergent mixed with cold water also works ok (mix quite strong). But all that washing makes re-waxing/polishing more often a must too!
The key is to remove them as quickly as possible. This time of year--it is a nonstop ordeal!

Prestone Bug Wash stuff works amazingly well. I use the Prestone winter wash in the cold season as it removes ice better than anything i.ve tried and the bug wash in the warmer months as it removes the bugs like nothing else. Plus neither one plugs up the windsheild washer spayers.
