Do those wheels have flat disc centers? The centers look about as thick as my 16" custom made Stockton wheels, which have 3/8" thick flat disc centers. Very heavy duty wheels, indeed.

I watched the video. EEEEEW, they're made in China (puke). No thanks. I'll take a US made Stockton wheel any day.

Yeah it can definitely suck. Lots of impurities that come out in the weld. I've had some that was porosity city. Not fun grinding it all out.

For the China comments, everyone is entitled to your opinion. To say that all "Chinese" steel is the same is ignorance at its finest. If you have personally been to China and seen their manufacturing it will change your mind and opinion on the situation. I go there for work and see first hand their technology and work pride. That country is advancing in manufacturing at an astonishing pace. What you see there is very different than the stereotypical and ignorant opinions most American people seem to have of Chinese manufacturing and workers. Is there bad stuff over there? Heck yes, but there is an awful lot of good too.

And yes, they are flat and it is about 3/8" thick steel.

They look nice on the truck. I would like to do the same thing, but am short the bucks to do it. I am still under my tire caps on my 16 inch stockers though.

I have to agree that there is bad stuff all over. My Accuride wheels are out of round by .125" and have to be reworked. Plus the fact that they are only rated for 80 psi, leaves a lot to be desired. It would have been nice if Rickson advertised the lower pressure rating before I ordered them. Now I know why they were a used set.

Who has experience with the Vision 19.5 rims? Are the Aluminum Visions any better or worse?
Thanks

I have the Visions. They've been good for my truck.
