Can this be used on the front cap as well as the sides?

Definitely, you will be amazed. I have found to also cover it with 303 to help with UV. Still, the bugs nearly wash off, our last trip, it did take a brush and a little spic and span, but still they came off pretty easy.

To get onboard with the chatter about Zep and Lowes Red Max Pro use on RVs just do a quick search for Red Max Pro.
Many of us have used the "floor polish" as a final coat on our gelcoat RVs with great success. With proper preparation, you just wipe on three or four coats of the product and it gives an amazing shine that lasts and lasts. Mine is about a year and a half old and it still looks as good as when I applied it.
It brings back the old faded color of the older RVs to a like new condition.
