Last summer with it being 96 out, I was on a major highway and about 15 miles from a large town in Maryland I had a flat, I called Good Sam and the girl told me it would be 4 hours, this was mid morning and middle of the week, I am 77 but I wasn,t going to set for 4 hours waiting so I changed it my self all time thinking is this good service they talk about, makes me wonder if I should renew this year with them.

historically, this has been the type of typical experience with GS Roadside Assistance that I've heard mentioned over and over around campfires .... it has been our personal experience in the past as well .... to me it is very encouraging to see that an active effort is being made to improve the level of service being provided and makes me feel good about recently renewing our coverage
You have to remember that GS does not have any control over the timing of the services they call. If the town has one tow/service place and they are tied up, GS cannot order them out sooner. If the GS people didn't try that would be one thing, but without knowing why the delay, I would not take GS to task until I KNEW why the 4 hour wait.

I am happy to report that after my initial post on this issue I received a telephone call from Zach at Good Sams and we had a good discussion regarding same. I pleased to advise all that the issues have been addressed and I am once again A HAPPY CAMPER.
