They are amazing creatures. The last fish probably weighed as much as the bird.

Ahhh yes, the beloved sea hawk. When I was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base I was living in Solomons MD, full timing at the Navy run campground. There was a Osprey nest box on top of an old electric pole about 100 yards away from me. Mom or Dad could always be heard coming back to the nest with their distinct sounds with a fish in their grasp. I loved watching the babies grow, fledge, become a fledgling, and then finally move on in life.

Mine was a guess. The only "flat fish" I know is a flounder, but I didn't know they were fresh water fish and that's a river.
