I am loving my 3500 SRW 4x4 Crew Cab Duramax. I'm sure new trucks will be nice, but I hope to get many years from my truck.

fuel tank or cat?
they state the exhaust points to a new engine? which one would that be?

Considering the versatility of the GM LS engine platform it could be anything. I am hoping for a 400hp engine in the 7.0L range, but looking at past history tells me not to expect anything close to 7.0L.

GM seems happy to max out 6.0/6.2L sized engines.

That thing is butt ugly, can't even get the air bags into the small interior

The exterior and power was not the issue. Lets see some areas that needed improvement. Just keep following the rolling dough boy until it stops for gosh sakes

aclay: How does that rig of yours handle the trailer? We have the same trailer except we are looking to upgrade to a 2013 Jayco Eagle 28.5 RLS. Wanting to know if worth the 8K to upgrade to an oil burner. Thanks.

The rear door looks too small to me to be a crew cab. Maybe it's a larger extended cab.

Looks like they've raised the hood higher and made the grille more over size, to be more like the Ford, which I really don't like.

I agree the tires are still too small.

I don't see anything about this truck that would make me want it more than a Dodge.

I'm sure the diesel engine will still be far better than Ford's diesel.

I sure hope they upgrade their gas engine offerings. Right now their diesel is the performance king, but the gasser is in last place power and performance wise.
The interiors are way outdated too.

I'm sure they will remedy that.

Very easy. Bring back the 8.1.

I'm kinda disapointed with the small wheel openings

This is long overdue. Huge tires don't do a thing for on-road performance or fuel economy. Wide can help performance, but hurts MPG. Tall can reduce RPM, but so can gearing, and tall adds frontal area, which hurts MPG. We need to go back to the days of the '90-'93 454SS, when a 275/60R15 looked mean and wide and muscular, not miniscule. Only this time we should use 17x8" wheels.

I like the sound of that! But, we know it will never happen.
