google MP-8...been using it for 140K miles on my '05 Dodge...it is plug in....5 minute job. Lets see, my cost in 2006 was $500, I've traveled 140K miles since, that's .00357 cents per mile. If it increased my mileage by just 1 mpg, that's a savings of 409 gallons...@ 3.50/gallon, that's a savings of $1431, minus my cost equates to a savings of $931.....I'll take it, thank you very much!

I have heard a lot of good things about superchips. You can also de-program that urea system with the new superchip. When I replace my V10 and go to a 1 ton diesel it is superchip for me.

Google Cummins Diesel Forum and there are several good sites to get information from. I suggest joining up on one or more of those sites and asking the question there. Much more Cummins owners and much more experience on those boards.

Just got back from the Chevrolet dealer. They said that before GM will warranty any work on diesels, the dealer has to send them transcripts of the engine and trans parameters. The dealer can't see them, but GM can. Even if you used the tuner/programmer to recalibrate your speedometer, your warranty is void.

OMG!!! How many times does it have to be said: MM has NOTHING to do with aftermarket tuners. NOTHING.

It will protect you if you want to put a in spec oil filter other than a GM brand. If it's within manufactures spec, or better you can use it without a manufacture voiding your warranty.

If you upgraded tire sizes you changed from stock thus the warranty is voided. Pretty black and white.

You can throw out MM all you want but GM or any brand denies warranty good luck fighting it.
