I ran a SMARTY Jr on my last truck for 2 or 3 years. LOVED the additional performance that it gave me, but hand calculated, there was very little if any difference in MPG.

If you are only looking for increased MPG you are likely to be disappointed.

You first must ask yourself if you want to void your warrenty or not.

I did and never looked back.
11.5-14 mpg towing
16.5-18.5mpg city empty
20-23 mpg highway empty

dyno around 400hp / 825tq

love the added power and instant resopnce from the truck.
EFILive is now avalable for cummins powered trucks. It would we worth a look.

Well, I did a Flo-Pro turbo back exhaust on my 2010 Dodge 6.7 and am running a n XRT-Pro tuner on the mild setting. I am seeing 4mpg increase with these mods for a cost of $1500.
My numbers show me an annual savings of $600 in fuel so about 2 1/2 years for payback. I usually keep my trucks 10 years minumum so I should see about a $4,500 savings over the life of my truck.

Ya and I thought most know that the reason ford and dodge have they power they do now is because they have been chasing the duramax since its intro... Dmax always wins out in all reviews for having more power..... NOW, too Me its not a enough difference to make a darn.

If you see 1/2 mpg increase you'll be doing good. Programmers, intakes and exhaust all makes for a wonderful tow vehicle but hardly does anything for fuel mileage. Been there, done that.
