I have a problem (don't know if its normal or not) but seems when loading the bars the driver side takes a bit more to lift up on the L bracket than the passenger side. ...
With my Equal-i-zer the drivers side bar always forces me to jack the trailer tongue up higher than what's necessary for the passenger side bar. Not sure why that is, but it seems to not make a difference which bar I hook up first.

Ok, so its not just me. Lol so with the more weight I have in the trailer now should I adjust the hitch again if needed? I worry about putting to much weight on the bars.

I am going to agree with the statements. I have to take my rig over the bay bridge in Annapolis MD. Its five miles of white knuckle driving everytime. I have my wife drive over with the kids and then load up just so it's me and only me if something happens. Look it up. This bridge is scary. The hitch works well and I slow down to 40mph so I feel in control. I had to move the mounts on my A frame one whole to even the trailer truck bow that was going on. I think the more you pull the easier it will become, you will be fine. I just really don't like the bridge.

Mine is the exact same way. When I have the trailer up high enough to get the driver side bar on the passenger side slides on very easy. It's been that way every time we've hooked up so far.
As for feeling push with a passing truck, we have only felt that once & that was not even a truck but a travel bus that went by us doing about 80 mph while we were at 60.
