We're taking the TT to the Black Hills this Sept and looking for a nice RV Park with full hookups. Any suggestions?

Might try searching in the RV Parks forum.

Rafter J is the nicest campground in all of the Hills.

Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

Rafter J Bar Ranch or Custer State Park would be my first two choices.

Rafter J Bar Ranch is excellent for us.

However if you have kids and need activities for them in the evening or during the day, then you might check out Mt. Rushmore KOA. Lots of things for kids to do there, and they have an excellent all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for a couple bucks too.

Rafter J or the Rushmore KOA. Custer SP doesn't have any FHU campgrounds. Most now have electric.

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

Custer Gulch is OK. Way up in Deadwood. Rafter J is more centrally located near Hill City. I think Rafter J is much nicer than the Gulch.

We stayed at the Mt.Rushmore KOA for a couple of days and would definitely stay there again. They have on site stables and horseback riding available. We had a great ride through the area.
