Hello All:
I own a Cherokee 28RLS 2010. It came with a water filter wrench, a new filter and I have had it for nearly six months and have NOT found the dog gone thing!
Where is the water filter in this thing? Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Vince

Maybe you don't have one and the dealer is playing games with you, it should by right near the pump...

listen and find the water pump. may be in a compartment you have to take a panel off off to get to it such as under sink in bath or have seen some in bottom of entertainment center.

You say 2010 and have had it for six months. That must mean used. The previous owner probably had the type I have and sits outside by the cg tap. He took it the filter system with him and forget the wrench and extra filter.

I you have one, it has to be near the pump and the city water connection as both flow through the filter.

My 08 Weakend Warrior (pun intended) came with a wrench, the housing to fit, and (I thought) an extra filter.... how considerate. I use the trailer for about a year, and think "time to change the filter". Imagine my disillusionment when I remove the housing, only to find it empty - no filter element inside!

On both of my Cherokee`s it was under the bathroom sink. remove the lower front panel of the sink cabinet it will be in there with the pump. and yes a water filter was standard on Cherokee`s.

It appears you have a "whole house system" and their intent is to filter all water from both the city water connection and the FW tank. They are almost always located close to the water pump as that is the point where both systems are available for connection. My filter sits almost against my water pump and only about a foot from the point where the city water connection is located.

We have a Rockwood 8317SS (bunkhouse) and our whole-house filter is located under our pantry, which is adjacent to the dinette beside the bunkroom. You must unscrew the screws on the hinges to access it.
