Yesterday I picked my combo in Belgium, paid a lot of money for custom and taxes , and drove to home 650 km under the storm ! The combo was very stable at 65-70 mph even with the strong wind 3/4 front (wind speed 50-55 mph !), drank 21 L/100km !!!!
We are very happy, a great combo but he need to be cleaned after 2 months on the boat. The 12V charging system from the truck work well, battery is ok. I didn't test all appliances now, need to change the propane regulator.

With these beds we can have our grandsons with us for short trip !!

Congratulations! Now you need to come to Mendig on 26/27 May ;-)

Cool truck! Nice camper! I wish you luck jumping through the bureaucratic hoops!

Best wishes,
Joerg

Don't see many trucks like that in Europe! Is it flat green? It appears to be and looks amazing..

It's a specific painting by Lonestar Conversion who do it for all 4x4.
It's like a Rhino Line X but in color. Very impressive.

When I filled the tank, to truck's men came to see the truck and blah blah blah

Joerg, I will not have the French approval and French license plates at this time, impossible so quickly as I told you. But I will try to come with US plates

At last! You must be very happy , and I'm sure you will have built up a huge list of where you intend to take it (how about Abenteuer Allrad 2012 - Bad Kissingen in June - we'll be there ).

Will you have any problems with those bull-bars on the front (EU regulations etc.)?

Anyway, it looks very nice - I like the interesting paint finish too.

Steve.
