For all you northern BC Travelers there are now two more Highway web cams that have come on line, one in Stewart BC and the other one at Meziadin Jct.

What's the deal with the cabin at the end of the road in the first picture?
Is it or was it visitor info? I stopped there once and there was an old guy with a long gray beard in there. Used kerosene lamps for light.
Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

The last time I saw that cabin open as a visitor center was in the early 1990s.

It was open in 2005 and the old gentleman with the beard was there. A wealth of information for a "newbie" to that area.
