With the links inserted as images, the updates from the BC Highway cams shows here as they happen. Note that all the highway cams in northern BC can be accessed at http://images.drivebc.ca/bchighwaycam/pub/html/www/index-Northern.html. These cams are a useful tool ...

Meziadin

Stewart

And two other new ones in BC's north ...

Looks like Meziadin and Stewart are both offline right now ... but the updates will show when they're available.

Dawson Creek isn't looking all that pleasant right now either!

What's the deal with the cabin at the end of the road in the first picture?

Is it or was it visitor info? I stopped there once and there was an old guy with a long gray beard in there. Used kerosene lamps for light.

Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

The last time I saw that cabin open as a visitor center was in the early 1990s.

It was open in 2005 and the old gentleman with the beard was there. A wealth of information for a "newbie" to that area.
