I think the Juke is cool. Like the Mini, it's one car that you don't mistake for anything else.

If the looks of these computer designed things aren't bad enough sit in one and try seeing out the back of it. Some of the headlight designs,tailight and brake and signal lights, you would have been ticketed for them years ago. I have often said are there no standards that have to be met any more!

I have said for years that every time an auto manufacturer says "completely redesigned or restyled" they still look the same, buy buyers will say, yes, it is a new style and they buy it.
As for what the Grill looks like, once you are seated inside it makes no difference, unless you see another of the same grill design coming toward you.
How about a car that has a big "S" on the grill, so when you see one creeping along the highway you can say, "Look at that S-Car-Go.(Snails)

Some of the most beautiful car front ends would include in my opinion:
-61 Lincoln Continental- whole car ++
-61 Jaguar XK-E...whole car ++
-63 Corvette Sting Ray- whole car ++
-63 Chevy Impala
-63 Ford Galaxie
-06-07 Buick LaCrosse
- '50's-early 60's Aston-Martin
-A.C. Cobra-whole car ++
-32 Ford
-41 Ford
-67 Ford Mustang- whole car++...but only the '67 fastback
-67 Camaro with the RS disappearing headlight option-whole car++ if a coupe
- 63 Buick Rivera-whole car...this is one of the best looking cars...ever
-60's Austin-Healey 3000 ++ whole car
There's more
Seems like most of them are older.

I admit I am a bit older which may be the reason I don't like any of the new cars.
Boring designs, no individuality. They all look alike.
However, our 30 year old son gave me hope. He said he thinks all new
cars look like "balls of snot with wheels."
I looked again and by golly he is right.

For cars (and cross-over SUVs), the need to improve gas mileage results in bubble-like shapes, as those are the most aerodynamic. Companies then try to do other things to distinguish their models, like weird grill treatments, that don't mess up the aerodynamics too much.
To me, it's the large behemoth SUVs that look ridiculous and silly, but lots of other people like them. Each to her own.

Every Super Duty and Econoline after 2007 has been hideous...with Ford's weird alien-fish front end. The newest trucks are less hideous, but still pretty bad.
