Well, it's only a mile or two so I imagine you can see one from the other.
Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

That kind of stuff used to be a standard answer to a test question back in my college days. If you don't know the answer:
1. Attack the question.
2. Suggest a better question (that you know the answer to).
3. Answer the new question.
And no, it rarely worked back then, either.

...or it could be an honest attempt to get more context around the question. For example, if the question is "What is the best 5th wheel" and the response is "Why do you want a 5th wheel?"....the answers to the "why" would help shape the determination of "best."
Using just one possible example, if you want a 5th because it has more room than a bumper pull, then the "best" 5th wheel isn't going to be one of the smallest ones.

I've noticed, mostly on another forum I belong to, that when someone doesn't know the answer to a question they'll respond and say something like "I don't have any answer for you, I hope someone can help you"...............WHY would someone do that....if you don't have an answer, just shut up!!!!!! (there, thanks for letting me rant, too )

I guess it's human nature to want to get your voice in the room. I have conducted and sat through many long meetings that could have been much shorter if only...
