I've a couple of solar panels that I will be mounting on the roof. However, before doing that, I want to figure out where the wiring will go.
I'm wondering if there is a way to find whatever vertical tubes run through the walls. Anybody got any ideas? It would be great if I could run the wires down through one of them. I'm planning on the panels near the front of the roof, and the battery compartment is right behind the driver's seat and under the leading edge of the slide-out.
I don't really want to run the wires over the edge of the roof and into the the slide opening, but that is one option.
Anybody know how to find the tubes?

I ran my wires down thru a interior wall space. I went to roof and where the tank vents came up thru the roof, I had a space that wide to run my wires down to the utility area in my 5th wheel.

Yeah, that's what I did with the panel I put on my old truck camper. But, there's nothing like that on this unit...the only existing hole anywhere near it is a pop-up vent in the center (without power) and farther back is an A/C. Neither of those will help much, as I'd need to run the wires on the inside then, and it would be a much longer wire run.

By far the the easiest way is to run the wires down the refrigerator vent and over to the batteries.

That's how I did it. Gives you a straight shot into the coach or the underside, if you want to run further lengthwise with your wires.

Agree Allnight-Refer top vent easist/cleanest route inside. Just looked at your pics on flicker site-you have a roof mounted refer top vent-thats the best way. Unfortunatly opposite side of your batteries-but just a longer wire run-so use the largest wire you can. Arrange panle(s) on roof to minimize wire on roof to vent (if you can).

+1 on the fridge vent.
I used a two hole strain relief.

Here's what the roof looks like, driver's side on the left:
The batteries are straight down from the front left corner. They are in the front-most under-carriage cabinet:
I've got some 8-gauge wire that I was planning on using, but if I really have to route the wire across to the far side, then I'll probably want something bigger. Ugh.
