For those that use water totes, do you use it for both gray and black? We just bought a 35 gallon Thetford.

I use mine for both. I'm going to rinse it out either way and let it air dry at home regardless.

x3! Remember a 35 gallon model weighs about 300 lbs, so keep that in mind when filling it.

Gray only. no need to use it for the black tank. we can go on numerous camping trips before we start worrying about dumping the black tank.
and i don't like the idea of hauling it full of black water, thru a campground.

I use mine for both, more for the grey, but I try to rinse it out after dumping.

I use mine for gray only.

With just two of us the on board black will take two weeks to fill.

How do you plan on getting that 35 gallon tote to the back of your tow vehicle to pull it to the dump station? Do you know what that will weigh when it is full ?

The state parks in Florida only allow gray water in totes.

Yup both. No way I'm dragging the camper down to the dump station just to empty the black tank
