We'll be starting our 7th season with our camper soon and I'd like to replace the tires before our first trip. Any search for "tires" in the forums seems to add about 5 pounds to my computer in sheer data returned! Our Rockwood Roo's original tires are Transmaster ST175/80R13 and they have kept turning the whole time without any problems.
I've done some calling locally and the options I've turned up are:
Carlisle
Hercules
Tow Master
Freestar
How would you rank these tires, from best to worst? All opinions welcomed! And yeah, I know ... I've turned up PLENTY of search results on Carlisle to tell me where that brand will show up in the list! :-)

DOT tire codes and Country of origin
I'm not familiar with all (regional private lable?)of them but I'll go out on a limb with they are all China product. If that is the case the ratings for your brand choices would be worst to most worst. Carlise may not be the worst as they are a very common non private lable tire. I have Carlise "china bombs" but the ratings of the tires are very high for my trailer weight offering a comfortable saftey margin.
Check the DOT codes as there have been many issues with China tires.
Others will have excellent options for better quality worry free tires.

I'd turn them all down. Chinese tires are just too inconsistent.

The only ST tire you should be considering at this point in time is Maxxis

I just put Maxxis M008 205/75-15 on my Jayco. Also had steel valves installed at no cost so I I'm a bit less apprehensive having replaced my Goodyear Marathons which had 15000 miles on them and adequate tread.

I had Maxxis tires and they seemed like good tires. They where about 5-6 years old when I replaced them. I replaced them with Carlisle tires and they seem just as good to me. My first trip with the Carlisle tires was from PA to GA and had no problems. I am starting my second seasion with the Carlisle tires. Time will tell if they last as long. A lot of folks talk down Carlisle tires but they have been making trailer tires longer than most of us have been alive. Although I was not happy when they moved there production from US to china.

Have you ever tried using the search engine to see what has been said in the past? There has been many conversations concerning different tire brands.

The Transmasters from Greenball do have a good reputation despite being made in China. You have already proven their reliability. Why not stick with those?
I believe the Towmasters are a Greenball Product as well.

Ditto on the Transmasters. Our '07 ROO had them OEM and we replaced exactly the same at the 4 year mark - you should consider changing them sooner than you are. Suggested time, IIRC, is about 4 - 5 years. You've had plenty of good use. DH ordered 1 replacement online due to a wear issue not the fault of the tire. When time came for the whole set, he found a local supplier. They have been on 3 years and have been trouble free.
