I posted here a few times , we we're shopping and looking well we did it and now there's one in the driveway .

We ended up buying a 2003 Roadtrek 190P with 85,000 km so around 55,000 miles . THe previous owner it was his 3 rd RT but at his age 73 he decided he was done camping .

It's in good condition except the pin stripes are all in different stages of peeling but thats not important .

Drove it home 1000+ km ( 600 miles ) . It's got the Dodge 318 in it so it's not fast but people i talked to said thats the best engine Dodge made ever ,

In the next week or so we will clean the inside and learn where everything is and how it works . Also looking to add Honda 2000 generator for our trips .

We also have to apply for our passport to venture to the U.S .

Life is good so we take advantage of it because it can change in an instant !

Happy camping/travelling everyone .

Congratulations! We bought a used class B about 16 months ago and it is without doubt the best "toy" we have ever had. Have already put more than 10,000 miles on it and loving every mile on the highway!

Here's hoping you'll enjoy yours as much or more!

Enjoy! We had a RT 190P several years ago with the same Dodge engine and had marvelous service. Personally, I think it is one of the finest motors made in my lifetime, probably alongside my two Jeep straight sixs back a few years ago.

These RTs last a very long time if well maintained and loved.

Congratulations, and enjoy! The 318 is pretty well bullet-proof. You'll get longer life out of the Dodge transmission if you make it a habit of locking out the overdrive when it starts shifting back and forth between O/D and drive (AKA 'fourth and third'). IIRC, the lockout is a button on the end of the shifter.

If it tends to porpoise over speed bumps and railroad tracks, the shocks may be worn-out originals. Bilsteins are excellent replacements, but the top front mounts are a real PITA.

Congratulations! Now lets see some pictures!

With regards to the vinyl decals coming off, you can just remove them all, wash and wax and replace them with new ones.

I wanted to remove all the Roadtrek and dealer signage decals off of my 170 and used GraphXoff which worked great. You just apply, wait 20 minutes, and the decals just push off.

Now the good times will truly roll!! Congrats on the B, the Dodge 318 has been one of the better Chrysler products around. Safe travels.

Welcome! We have a Dodge, too, although I am not sure what the engine is numbered (you'd think I would know after ten years!) My mechanic said that it should run for another 100,000 miles. We only have 86,000 miles on it. I drive it almost every day. Had 18,000 miles on it when we purchased it.

Also, one of the best toys we own...have to include the boat in that category, too.

On Edit: It's a Dodge 360 Engine
