My GoPower has run the fridge (350w?) for close to an hour before I realized it.
The cooling fan gave it away.

Most small items run from a 300w inverter have no surge so additional surge performance will go unused.

The SureSine standby 55mA is great but I am not sure a small item like a phone will be enough to signal it to return to normal and provide power.

Who's making the Go Power? I thought some of their stuff was actually Samlex rebranded. I like the Samlex line.

That is an interesting thought....if memory serves me correctly, it take over 8 watts draw to bring it out of standby. Not sure what a phone charger draws...

I don't own any of the inverters you are considering...
But I do have a MorningStar solar controller and I have lot of respect for them as a manufacturer;
- OUTSTANDING customer service!
- Great website
- Great product documentation
- Great product build quality
These things certainly contribute to MorningStar's higher cost and it's all part of the "getting what you pay for" equation. Only you can decide if this stuff aligns with your needs and budget.
Cheers

Hi mena,

Does the go power fan run constantly or only as needed? Thanks in advance.
I don't know. I can't hear it from inside the trailer. (it's in the basement compartment)

That IS interesting! I CAN run a cell phone charger from my Go Power no problem though.

I have a Samlex 150W PSW inverter that I have had for several years and had no issues with it.
