We use Amazon. Wife likes a different flavor depending on the day and Amazon will send a random variety bag of 32 or 36 cups. Don't remember the price but it is inline with all the others.

We also use Amazon...our favorites are Coffee People and Tully's Kona. I buy as big as possible and chose whichever brand is cheapest that day. Usually buy 108 cups for about 60-70$.

Hi All.
Not so much as one cent. First off we wouldn't own one anyways. We would get awful bored waiting for our turn for a cup of Cofffee. We drink Coffee by the Pot Full, not one cup at a time. And yes, we have had a cup of it, and don't think its all that special.

We feel that one advantage of the Keurig that gets missed is the lack if waste coffee. Before this, we would always end up throwing out brewed coffee because we were moving on or it just got old.

If you use the filter/replacement cup, you do need to grind the coffee a bit more fine than when using in regular coffeemaker. We also like the convenience of each getting the coffee we like and not drinking whatever is in the pot. It is fresh everytime we want a cup and like someone said--no pouring out old coffee. We have tried over 50 different kinds and found many we didn't like, but found a lot of favorites. We also like the tea and apple cider, and cafe mocha doctored up!!! I have enough patience to wait the 2 minutes for my turn!

We pay about $7 a box when we buy our coffee and tea at the Arnold AFB Commissary. That's a lot cheaper than outside the gate, and we don't pay the sales tax. Of course the OP can't use a military commissary unless he's in the Canadian Forces.
For us it's not the cost, it's the convenience factor. Since it's only the DW and I, brewing a pot of coffee is a waste of resources.

I got a good deal on 6 of the ekobrew reusable K-cups so we fill them with our home blend and the 6 of them will last without having to get up and clean them during coffee time. It is pretty inexpensive over time and very tasty to use our own coffee.

The Machine is a B&D . When we are dry camping We Boil the water in a Kettle on the Stove and use a Melita Filter Cone which fits the B&D carafe. About the same price.
I guess my taste buds where dead a long time ago and if you have never been in the Navy onboard ship and gotten up for the 4 to 8 watch and had a cup of "sludge" especially from the wardroom you expectations of what decent coffee tastes like gives you a very different prospective on all these fancy ways of brewing a "cup of Joe"
We make 12 cups and a large can of Folgers that I get at the commissary lasts us about 2 weeks. At $9 in coffee and $.14 in filters for 168 (840oz) cups of coffee works out to approx $.01/oz. Not sure of the oz. per cup of Keurig coffee is. IMO it takes no more clean-up since you have to take something out of the coffee maker and throw it away and you only do that once.
Finally, if you have say a couple of friends over for dinner you can serve coffee to everyone at the same time with no waiting.
I guess something like the Keurig might make sense of you only have one cup of coffee a day, but we are big time coffee drinkers so what we have and do now makes sense to us.

Thanks for all the answers. Looks like the cups are the same price in the states and in Canada. I can accept the extra cost of cups over making my own because of the convienience. We usually have one cup each in the morning and I might have another cup later in the day. So it's worth having the machine.

We like the k-cups for use in the rv mostly but we do use it along w/the drip one at home. we like the donut shop brand,bold is our choice at around .55 cents a cup. must look at b'js.paul
