Make sure you check the viewing angle. Some VIZIO's have poor viewing angles and when viewed from slightly lower angle the picture turns dark. I think the LED versions are better (I suspect?) Good units spec the viewing angle as +/-178 degrees, maybe better than you need. But watch out for this since a lot of RV's mount the TV up higher meaning that you look at it from a low angle.

Two vizios, a 55" in the house and a 32" in the rv living room...great TV's at a great price.

we have a 32" vizo led edge lite, good sound
but it seems nobody makes a TV with forward facing speakers anymore
the previous TV an Olivea had forward facing speakers and the best sound we have had since big wood cabinet TV's disappeared

We went from a 26" Samsung LCD to a 26" Vizio LED. We did this as a power saving move, as we boondock off solar and the LEDs used less than half of the LCD. Comparing the two, the picture quality of the Samsung was far superior, as well as the sound quality. As previously mentioned, being able to angle the screen helps the picture brightness. I was disappointed, as I heard great things about Vizio on the forum and elsewhere. But the energy savings make it a worthwhile purchase.

Sounds fmiliar. We have one in the S&B and with a true HD signal via HDMI it gives a good enough picture, but when fed a modulated standard definition signal (like my bedroom TV gets from the satellite receiver up front in the motorhome) then the picture is pretty poor (no interference lines, just a fuzzy grainy picture.)
But the Vizio TV was very reasonably priced, and for the price I'm not complaining. But don't expect it to perform like a top-end set that costs many times as much. You do usually get what you pay for (and you rarely get what you don't pay for.)

That is the problem I have with my 22 inch Vizio mounted in the bedroom cabnet. The picture is fine if you are standing up, but try to watch TV in bed and picture is black and almost worthless. The next TV I buy for the MH I'll lay on the floor, in the store, to really check the viewing angle before I purchase it.

Thank you all for the feedback on Vizio TVs. I have room for a 40" Samsung but the TV would be about a half inch or so too high so would hang below the cabinet a bit, that's why I was looking at 37" TVs. Guess I'll stay with Samsung, the picture on our 32" in SD is very nice and on HD OTA it's awesome! Thanks again!!

Good choice. With the same HD signal, our Vizio gives an OK picture, while our Samsung is awesone. If I had it to do over again, I would've spent the extra money and got another Samsung instead of the Vizio. In fact, I'm seriously considering getting another Samsung in the house, and relegating the Vizio to replace the SD tube set in the MH bedroom where it won't be used as much (but first I'll check the vertical viewing angle -- thanks to camperguy99 and brobox!)
