Speculators are not bidding up the price right now. That's the only reason it's going down. All you need is one little blip and the speculators will be back at it. We really need them to take physical possesion of the oil, and not just flip it for a fast profit.

Let me get this straight…
I assume you are saying the price is high to affect the outcome of some event that will happen sometime in November…
But, no matter how hard they try to keep it high, someone or some entity has the ability to force it slowly down and time that reduction to counter act the action of a entire industry…
That is truly amazing… thanks for the enlightenment…
That's a fact. Back in the summer of '08, we were paying 4.10 at the most for regular gas on a summer vacation in northern Michigan. By the time our next vacation came around, which was the week of the election, gas down to below 2.00 for regular. So you tell me, who influenced that? I don’t know…Could it have been the slowing world economy… That didn't happen in your neck of the woods? It sure did but I don’t recall the exact prices…
And your evidence that the November event was the cause of the price reduction is???
If it is a fact there should be supporting evidence…
Just how was it done??? By executive order???
If so what is the other side of the isle doing while this is happening???
What motive would the oil industry have to support or facilitate this happening???
