I have the following 2 house batteries: Exide - Type E-3600 - Group Size GC2 - R/C Min 25 AMP 390 - Golf Cart/Electric Vehicle.

Servicing the Battery Box I noticed that the cells exposed the Plates, is water added?

Believe I read at one time water should not be added to the Exide Golf Battery. I do not have any information on the Exide battery.

Never had this type of battery.

Hi,

Add enough distilled water to cover the plates. Recharge the batteries, then add water up to just below the bottom of the split ring. Charge again, then use a recondition cycle on the battery bank.

Don,

Is it OK to add de-humidifier water inthe battery?
