Any opinions on some seasonal sites in Ohio or Kentucky? I would like full hook-ups and a place that doesn't look like people live there year round, meaning sheds and decks off campers etc...

General Burnside Island State Park or Dale Hollow in southern Kentucky are a couple we always use. Both are nice, clean not too far from town and both have top flight golf courses. Check rvparkreviews under the state and you'll get all you need to know to help make your decision. Good luck.
You might take a look at Steamboat Bend. Its part of the Hamilton County Park District and overlooks the Ohio River just east of I-275. All sites are weekly, monthly or seasonal only. Water and 30A electric at sites and dump station available on the grounds. I've driven thru it. Its a beautiful setting. Drive down and take a look. Just 52 sites.
Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.
