We are taking off for a 3-week adventure to NC to see the grands and back up to wherever we feel. Hubby wants to take the 4-wheeler, I say leave it at home as we probably can't use it very many places. What do you all think--take it or leave it home?

Do you mean a car or ATV? If you mean a car, take it, you won't regret your decision.

If you are going to be in campgrounds all the time, I would not take it. If you are going to be somewhere you know you can ride it some and if you got the room, I would take it along. Is that it under the cover in front of the suv?

Yup--it is under the cover on the trailer. I figured most CG don't let you use them, and we really don't have any places planned, so don't know that we can even use it. I'd hate to go away and come back and find someone wanted it! Thanks--I think we will leave it home.

If it makes the hubby happy and you have the room why not take it. Plus the grand kids will love it too. There's no price too high for 1 good memory.

Outback ATV Park in Laurinburg is a good place to explore the trails. We have races there but its not a "track". Its just a place to go riding for miles and miles and its close to Raeford.

Outback

Busco Beach is also very popular. Its been featured in national ATV magazines. Again, just miles and miles of trails, mudholes, motocross tracks, and even a drag strip. Something for everyone.

Not sure what happened to the Busco Beach website but you can google it and see plenty plus several videos on youtube.

Golf carts, yes. ATVs, no. Virtually every campground around here doesn't allow quads unless its an actual riding park. We have a few of those but its just not the norm here for the typical campground.

If he wants to bring it and then go riding somewhere, that would make sense. What town are you folks headed to?
