Haven't you heard, they have found a Mayan calendar which goes out to about 3500AD? still I'm happy for the increase in tourism for the area.

Probably leave the great Norwet Oct 15 or so headed down the west coast as far as we can go in Mexico. Then back up the coast or over and up the east coast to Texas. Plan to be back home around May 15 next year.

Hope to complete the transaction on a house here in La Paz. We've got room for our 5er here. So we'll be here in the autumn through about next June or July. When you get to the area - would love to hang out with you at some of our favorite kayaking spots.
Actually - would love to hear from any RVers that end up in this part of Mexico and would like to hook up personally!

We hope to continue exploring colonial cities and ruins.
We still haven't been to Oaxaca because we are never sure about finding an RV park that is open and functioning. We hear the guy with the small park who makes Mexcal is too hard to get to and now wants advance reservations for at least 2 months. We heard the other park is in bad shape but then heard they have been fixing it up. Any recent news about RVing around Oaxaca would be appreciated.
We have also heard the Baluarte Bridge is finished but they are still building the road so not sure if that route will be open. If it is we will probably try to find a reason to take that route.
We like the mountains more than the coast. We expect to spend time with Sal & Barb at Hacienda Contreras and visit Valle de Juarez. Friends to visit in Ajijic. Day trips from Roca Azul to Guadalajara - Tonala - Tlaquepaque. Over to Patzcuaro. Up to Guanajuato. SMA to try to find Les just to annoy him. Maybe Teotihuacan. Puebla? Lots to do and see. Hope to find new places of interest. Pueblos Magico. So much to see and do.
