It appears that they have correctly increased the rear tire pressures to acccomodate the wide and shifting load...I would suggest that the passenger rides on the opposite side since he would help counter balance the load(this was done on many early dual slide motorhomes with the BR slide being curbside to oppose and counteract the streetside LR slide. Notice also the slow speed to conserve fuel and help with better handling.)

If fuel prices keep going up at the current pace this will be the form for truck transporation on the the interstates. LOL

I don't see the over-weight problem. It was only feathers. Now he may have had a problem with over dimension. I did not see any placards for OVER WIDE LOAD.
