Doesn't seem to make sense that you can' to rv.net through rv.net but you can get to it through one of the other portals.

They are hosted on several different servers.

I've been having problems and just checked the actual address of the shortcut I've been using for years. I changed from "openroadforums" to "rv.net/forums" and everything is good. As the others mention just find another "road" into the site and you'll be fine.

I think the database that runs the forums needs to be re-indexed and compressed. All the different portals use the same backend database. This seems to happen every once in a while.

It's starting to do it again today. I have tried the back doors and am having similar problems.

Well I must have jinks the Woodall portal. It's running slow here now. Plus I now seem to be a Good Sam member. Hummmm. Don't remember signing up for that.

It all started up bad on RV.net for me again today... 04/29/2012 8AM

switched to a couple of the others and couldnt get any of them either. Now a few of the others are working but RV.NET still down here. No conenctions at all...

I think i am on the trailer Lfe portal now and all working...

The IT guys will be back to work tomorrow so maybe they will find the trouble...

I think I am the one that JINXED a couple of days ago haha...

At that time I never knew the forum could be accessed by several different portals using the same name and password.. So I learned something out of the ordeal.

Being the old man I am I just hate it when the norm gets out of wack haha...
We all follow our daily routine thing I guess.... If i cant get on RV.net then I feel bad all day long hehe...

My Posts are IMHO based on my experiences - PM me

The administration is aware of the problems with this site and are actively working on fixing it. There are other portals that you can use to get on when RV.net is down or having problems.

One that is very reliable is the Trailer Life portal.

Another is the Coast to Coast portal.

Sometimes the Good Sam portal works.

Or the Motorhome Magazine portal.

And finally, the Woodalls portal.

All of these will take you to the same place. Just different ways of getting there. When one is down, often one of the others will work.

none of those seem to be working very well either. Just getting the wheel spin.

Another problem, after I sign in select a topic to read and then try to go to the next page, I get Connection has reset while trying to load try again. Then it will not come back.
Also happened when I tried to submit an answer to another post.
This has been going on for several days.
