We have been looking for a new trailer for some time but were unable to agree on a trailer. We finally both agreed on a trailer this week and made the purchase. We took it out camping the next day and we are currently still out camping, just taking a little break to share with rv.net.
We have no kids but the bunkhouse seemed like the best floor plan for us and extra room is never a bad thing. We purchased the trailer brand new from Trailside RV in Grain Valley, MO. I think we got a really good deal paid $13,900 out the door. They installed my weight distribution hitch at no charge and were more than happy to install the few parts I purchased.

We had a new 2001 Jayco Eagle 264 BHS with that exact floorplan...suited us very well for a couple of years and the 2 kids loved their bunks. Then we went to a 5th wheel Jayco. And it does seem like you "stole it".
The bunk area makes terrific storage and you can even remove them and install more storage if you need to!

We had a bunch of rain today so we packed up a day early and headed home. Sitting in the driveway now all emptied out and cleaned up.
We have had an older unit before this but my wife is totally in love with the new camper. She asked if we could camp every weekend till it gets cold. The mattress was total******but I went to walmart and bought the 4" memory foam they sell for around $130, it made all the difference in the world.
I can't stop looking out the window and just staring at it. I also made a few minor upgrades today, added a paper towel holder, a second towel bar in the bathroom. I hung a 26" TV in the living room area, and a 19" TV in the bedroom area. I also ordered some outdoor speakers for camping as well. I can't wait to go camping again.

Thanks guys. The first trip is going great and the camper is perfect. As far as jayco I'm glad I picked jayco as it has a 2 year warranty.

A friend of mine with no kids at the time pulled the bunks out and made a closet out of the space. Mounted a pole for his/her clothes and built in some storage shelves. Was very functional for two people.
