I am trying to find out if this is a Jeep that can be towed
all 4 down or do I have to make modifications it's 8cyl. auto
199000 mi.

I'm looking for a tow car and have heard older Jeeps are good.
I have 97 Allegro Bay Gas '35.

any suggestions. alsos someone said Suzuki, Tracker,

I just want it for 2 years to take 3 long trips and go to
store or some sites.

Also, thinking bout renting a car but seems might be difficult
at some areas. only Enterprise picks up.

thanks 4 the help

Most likely yes. If the transfer case has a neutral position then for sure 100% yes....

We had an 02 Limited w/ V8. As said if the 4WD had 2 shift levers on the floor with the transfer case having a positive Neutral you can tow it. Just shift it to N and then put the tranny in D or R and if it doesn't do anything you're good to go. Put the tranny in P and the key in the Aux position. Next to our 1st toad, a 91 Honda Accord 5spd. it was the easiest to hook up and go.
Just remember the GC is heavy especially the limited, 5000lb.+ and you're driving a fairly large Gas coach. You will definitely need an auxiliary braking system for it.
I've said all the good things I know about the GC.

Good luck on your adventure
