I only read the first page of replys so this may have been brought up already. Costco's Kirkland is suppose to be the worst of the TPs, funny thing is in our MoHo holding tank(not septic tank)it breaks down as we travel and most of the time "everything" is broken down and goes through our Sewer Solution hose which I believe 3/4". Haven't had to attach the flush hose on the road for three or four years. We did 10 weeks last fall and never pumped once just drain and rinse. I don't think it makes a darn bit of difference.

I was wondering if some of you have an opinion if we should be using RV bathroom tissue or if we should just use the same as we do at home.(cottonelle)

There's nothing magical about RV TP. Cottonelle works fine in RVs. We've used it in the past. Use the same stuff you use at home. Just use the tips posted above and you won't have any problems. We normally use Angel Soft which is similar to Cottonelle.

Hi All

We have been RV'ers for a liitle over 45+ years now. And we have always used what ever we buy for the house, Period

We have never had any issues either in all of these years. The only good thing that "RV Toilet Paper" is good for, is making your wallet a lot lighter, and the places that sell it, they laugh all the way to the bank. Don't be a Sucker.

Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

What difference does it make which tp you buy, you only use it once and then throw it away (I hope!)?

this brings to mind a post from way basck in which someone said to save the paper that you have used in a paper bag by the toilet.

Maybe I am making this part up but does it not make cute colors when you toss the stuff in the camp fire.

Bet these are the same people that complain about odors and can't figure out where it's coming from.

The current Consumer Reports has a test article. WalMart had a brand that came out on top.

YES....You DO need to use the $$$ RV TP!
As well as RV tire air,RV fuel, anything that is used in or around the RV needs to be RV safe, tested and certified.
Anyone that believes all that will probably use the RV TV.The rest of us....well, you get the idea.
