On one of the Yahoo boards, people mentioned finding Travasacks at some stores called "Tuesday Morning." This is a discount store which apparently bought out all the last of the inventory of Travasack.

Another vote from us for Travasaks. When it is very hot, we unroll the Travasaks and use a sheet on top. We sleep better in our Pleasure Way than at home. The memory foam mattress is very good.

With the power seat/bed in many of the newer Class B's, it is hard to make up the bed with conventional bedding. It is possible though. This is why many look at the Travasak (which as pointed out is out of business but there are copies - if you search Travasak you will find the copies that are currently available. Some of the Tuesday Morning stores have been selling closeout Travasaks but this is hit and miss and likely by now, they are all gone from there too.

We decided to order our Roadtrek with the twin/King bed non-powered rear seat. This gave us basically a platform to assemble several cushions into a bed which can be made up with a sheet. This article details my wife's technique of making up the bed with standard sheets and you are pretty close to sleeping like you do at home - Making the Bed. This takes a lot of time and we make up the bed before the start of the trip and leave it that way for the entire trip - we have no need to use the rear of our Roadtrek other than for sleeping. There is lounge seating and a dining table up front. Depending on how long we are out, of course, the sheets are taken off and changed - with this same process repeated. When the bed is made up it is almost a full King - it is about 6'x6'.

We could use a Travasak like sleeping bag, but for us this is more comfortable. You could also use sleeping bags on the bed if you don't want the Travasak type bags.

Traveling in a Class B if you are used to the space of any larger RV is quite different. Space is at a premium and two people are very close together the whole time inside.

To little to late. I already have custom made sheets in the works. I found the following website when looking for Travasak.
We enjoy the twin beds in our Sprinter, because we can easily use the overhead compartments and stuff our duffle bags under the twin beds.
However, it is somewhat like working a puzzle, using 3 separate fitted sheets and two single sheets. I now have it worked out and it is very comfortable.

Our RT has the twin beds which we really prefer over the convertible couch arrangement. We use a couple of light weight sleeping bags as opposed to conventional bedding. We simply roll them up and store on the end of the bed when in transit. No muss, no fuss. In very hot weather, we just fold a queen size sheet in half for each bed, making a top and bottom.

It has taken us three B's and two C's and thirty years to be really convinced: less IS more!

Oh my, why didn't I think of using two queen size sheets. What a great idea.

Of course it just a single.

Van.

My website describes the conversion of my Dodge B-250 van into a small RV. I deal with a lot of woodworking, but hope to be quite specific on solar as well.

Superbags are fairly pricey. We opted for Coleman Issaquah sleeping bags that are 36" x 80" and can be zipped together if desired as one big bag that fits the B bed perfectly just like a Travasak or Superbag. The Coleman bags have zip out flannel sheet liners that can be washed separately from the bag. They are good down to 25 degF. which is about as cold as we are willing to endure in our travels. We bought them a few years ago at Costco for $30 each. Our preference is not to zip them together as it makes getting in and out of the bed easier.

Here is one source for $40 currently.
Coleman Issaquah Sleeping Bag

The Issaquah sleeping bag does not show up in the Coleman website anymore but I found this interesting Adjustable Comfort Adult Sleeping Bag with an adjustable layer system.

This is how we stored them rolled up while traveling in our previous Pleasure-Way Plateau. They could be used as bolsters or footstools...

This is open and ready for bed...

This is how we now store them while traveling in our Great West Van Legend on top of the dually wheel cover between the sofa and the cabinet. We can move our electric sofa forward a couple of inches to squish the bags together for a tight friction fit to keep them from tumbling about. Along the line we lost those black stuff bags.
