Oh my goodness.....I love Camping World. Since we are needing to be full time RVers, I have spent close to $2000 in 2 months. This is from placing orders on line, purchases in Strafford, MO and Katy, TX.

Also, not only are we Good Sam members but have the Good Sam Extended Warranty on our 2002 travel trailer.

I am a very happy customer. The staff are very warm and friendly.

Glad you have had some great luck. They seem to be hit or miss. Sometimes you can find the same item on line for much less at various other companies. We were at one on Saturday and didn't buy anything; just went to browse around.

I'm thinking the "love" would fade a bit if you were to find out you could have saved 33% or more if you'd shopped elsewhere on-line.

It would be best for you to shop around , you can find much lower prices on line than camping world, tweety's is always lower and so is dyers just to name a few , one thing camping world is good at is marketing. Check around before you just buy at camping world.

We don't shop on line and enjoy walking and looking at the products in the Camping World store. When you buy something in the store instead of online you have the product in hand then & there. If there is a problem they'll take it back without having to ship it to them and wait all over again.
We do shop around and I stay away from the stores that are full of Chinese junk even if they have a better price on the few RV items they have in stock. A lot of people like to shop in stores and not on line. If I want something they don't have in the store I'll order it at the counter and have it shipped in.

I buy tons of stuff online, from all the usual places. That doesn't in any way diminish my enjoyment and occasional shopping at the two Camping Worlds within easy driving distance. I'd be sad if they were gone. Sometimes I just want to browse or seek problem-solving inspiration; other times I just need or want something sooner rather than cheaper. I'm aware many things are available cheaper online - I just don't care. (There is a threshold at which I do care, but it's sort of flexible.)

Or, you can have it BOTH ways. Go to Camping World to see and hold the product, and then buy it on line elsewhere if you want to get it cheaper.
Another option would just be to go to an RV supply and accessory store that has the product in stock, sells it for a competitive price, and has a great customer service policy as well.

We do not have a camping world or any other rv store anywhere near us other than the way over priced rv dealers stores so most of what we buy is done on line just because there is no one near us to go too. But to say I would only buy from camping world well History shows they are over priced.

The moderator deleted my previous reply to your post so I apologize for my being too cynical.

Let's try again.

Take this with the spirit intended: IMHO: Your postings regarding your experience with CW reek of a hidden agenda. Guess I'm the only one to call you out!!! If I'm wrong, I apologize. I'll keep an eye on your future postings Trudi & Dan in hopes you prove me wrong.

Happy camping!!! See y'all down the road!!!
