I ordered my 19.5 tires and rims from Ricksons. You pay extra to have them balanced. Mine work great.

Just a heads up, I had the place that sold me the Toyo's. Try to tell me I had a wheel out of round. I asked them how the old set of tires I came in with were not doing what the new ones were doing? Found out they had 8.5 oz on that one. After getting mad, they changed that one out for me. But took a few months, You can bet the next set I will be sure to get them where I have the 30 day ride deal. And trade out until there right. Still had 2 tires with over 6 oz of lead on them. And they were match-mounted and then road-force tested, Poor guy worked for 3 1/2 hours on them. But then again for what I paid they should have been swapping out 2 others.

campguy30/40:

Rickson sent me tires and rims, in December, that were balanced with weights and equal. I'll never use Equal again. This is the second set of tires that I have used that junk. The powder got wet at some point and had clumped in the tires. Last set I had dismounted and cleaned out the tires and rims. They were then remounted and the balancing beads were installed. I will be doing the same thing to these Rickson supplied tires and rims.

i use the dynabeads also (larger bead size). No prob, scooping them out and reusing when buying new tires. 3 of my toyos needed maybe 1oz balancing weights, 4th needed 5 oz. Lined up the yellow dot on tire w/ the valve stem, but no other special balancing done. I removed the stick-on weights the 1st week and wear has been even over ~45k life of tire w/ no obvious vibration.

i am happy w/ dynabeads and plan on reusing them

I just broke down 4 tires that had Equal in them. I don't know how they looked going down the road, but the Equal had clumped and was sticking to the sidewalls. I used a vacuum with upholstery brush to remove them. Didn't need the Equal anyhow.

Equal is supposed to stick to the sidewalls and "clump".

Did not know that. I like the Centramatics better anyhow.

Both sets of tires that I had with Equal, did not balance worth a hoot. I removed it and replaced it with Tech Plus Beads and never had better balanced tires.
