Okay, it finally happened.
We are managing a Provincal Park in BC and we are parked very close to nature (which is the wonderful thing about these parks)
We have deer, birds and of course rodents.
So, we have a mouse in the motor home. We have tried Sonic repellers, we have tried Warfarin and all to know avail. We have steel wool around the electrical and water hose where they come into the motor home, but there are probably lots of openings that we can't see that the mouse can.
Anybody have any ideas how to keep mice out of the motor home?

Maybe concentrate on the touch points. Mice can't fly last I checked so maybe doing something near the wheels is all that is needed? I've never done it but what if a guy placed some greese on the axle or something like it.. would they cross?

You are right, they can't fly, but my research here as shown they can jump as high as one foot.
My jacks don't quite go that high.

Some say that fresh cab works and some say it doesn't. I used sticky traps to catch the mice in the TT. I used the large ones from Walmart. I was catching 3 and 4 at a time. Then you need to patch the holes where they are coming in. Unless you patch the holes you won't stop them from coming into the RV.

I'd go with all of the above. Cats are great to keep mice out. I have little faith in electronic devices though some report good luck with them (some also report if they give mice something to soften their clothes they go away). Poison is usually quite effective and it's usually a good idea to close off as many of the hundreds of places they COULD come in as possible. They can travel up stab jacks, wheels, hoses, electric lines, roof vents etc. and it's not likely you will EVER get all of them closed off. When camping in their habitat it's not at all uncommon to have them in the RV so prepare for a long term battle.
