Looking to get a satellite dish. Looking at Dish Tailgater or Winegard Carryout. Which gets better reception?

How many responses do you think you will get from folks that have bought both and compared them. Not many I bet.

I would think that anything less than PERFECT reception would be unacceptable for a satellite dish. My reception with the one I purchased from an installer for $10.00 is perfect.

I'm with Jim. This question is like "which is best, Ford or Chevy"? Answers you get will be all one sided depending upon which one the responder has and I doubt if you'll get any negative answers on either one.

Just buy one and go for it.

There may be other reasons for one over the other.
I think the tailgater will only work with one model receiver.
Carryout will work with many.

I think you just asked the wrong question.
