I am off work now for a medical issue for 8 weeks, 3 weeks left. Really hate going back. Worked 40 years at the same job with lots of responsibility and some danger. I have been working in the yard and cleaning house and garage. Days go by quick and havn't even started the real list things to do. Nice not to be in a big hurry to get stuff done. I'll take a big cut in pay to retire but I don't want to work till I die. I hope to pull the plug next year.
I retired 6 years ago, after 40 years with the same company. I can honestly say not one morning have I woke and said to my wife "wish I could go to work today"
